As a company admin, you have the ability to upload new offer letter templates or make updates to existing ones with a few clicks of a button! 🚀
Navigate to the Settings page, then click on Offer Letter Templates. The number steps on the page give a quick snapshot on how to use this feature in the Pequity tool.
- TEMPLATES: This is where you will see a list of the existing Offer Letter templates loaded into your environment currently. You can make modifications to templates in this list. When adding a new template, you will see it appear in this list.
- PLACEHOLDERS: The placeholders tab will show you all of the available elements in Pequity that can be used to populate your templates. In your offer letter, you should include these placeholders in place of any element you want, inclusive of the curly brackets {{}}
To add a new template:
1. Click on + Add Template on the upper right side.
2. Select the .docx file you want to upload after clicking Choose your template.
3. After selecting the file, name the template accordingly and click on Save.
To update an already existing template:
1 Make sure the toggle is on Templates then click on the name of which you wish to edit.
2 Click on Download. Once downloaded, open the file using Microsoft Word and make the necessary edits. After which, saving the file you’re working on.
💡 Pequity suggests adding a version number to the name of your template to help track historical changes (ie. Sample Offer Letter_v2).
3 Come back to Pequity then click on Replace. In the pop-up, select the updated file version of your template.
Once done, click Save.
NOTE: For offer letter templates to work seamlessly, make sure that the needed placeholders are present and in their designated positions within the template. You can check out the list of placeholders if you toggle this from Templates to Placeholders.
