At the moment, a planning group for a compensation cycle can only be associated with ONE Wave. When looking at the Cycle Settings Group tab, you will see that each group is assigned to a Wave. There can't be groups assigned to both Wave 1 & Wave 2 simultaneously.
If you are trying to modify the planning group for an employee and you do not see the group available in the dropdown, it is likely because they are associated to a different Wave. For example, Administrative does not appear in the dropdown list of groups when modifying the Wave 1 group for an employee because it is in Wave 2.
If the group is assigned to the incorrect wave, you can change their wave assignment in the Cycle Settings. Navigate to the "Group" tab and find the group you would like to change. Select the Wave in the Wave column to open up the dropdown of available waves, select a new wave, and save.
Now that the wave has been reassigned, you will see the group appear in the available dropdown when modifying an employee's group.
