Pequity People aims to provide a first-class experience for Compensation Managers and Leadership to identify pay disparities among their people by benchmarking accordingly against their ranges.
NOTE: Pequity People are able to flexibly handle any compensation elements and data that your team needs to review it's employees compensation. Below are general guidelines to prepare employee data for import into Pequity.

People Import Template Guide
Pequity People map cross-platform using 3 primary criteria:
- Job Family Group/Job Family
- Company Level
- Location
These fields are required in Pequity and will be used to map together your Ranges and Comp Cycle data. All compensation elements and remaining columns can be incorporated flexibly in your employee import file.

File Import Guide
In your Pequity instance, data imports are securely loaded in our Help Center for review and confirmation. To add an import file to your Pequity account use the following steps:
- Securely log in to your Pequity account
- Select "?Help" in the left navigation bar
- Click "Contact Support"
- Create a People Import ticket
- Click "Submit Ticket"

NOTE: Please include a subject to let us know this is a "People Import Request" and include any details in the description that you think are important for the import. (ie. New column headers, new job architecture/job family groups, or new people-range mapping)
In case of errors if your file does not successfully import, Pequity Support will reach out with remediation or enquire about changes being made to the file. To avoid errors, please use the "Download CSV" function as a company admin in People List to make updates directly in the download file for re-import. This ensures accurate fields, headers, and data at import.
Optional: Pequity Sandbox Validation & Confirmation
Using Pequity Sandbox validation requires an additional step before any people updates reflect in your active Pequity production instance.
To opt-in for Pequity Sandbox Validation reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Pequity Support to request setup.
After an import request has been submitted, the import will first reflect in your unique Pequity Sandbox. Pequity Support will reach out to confirm that you are able to validate the import is ready for update in your team's live production instance. Sandbox access will only be provided to requested users and company admins to view.
Once you confirm with Pequity Support that the data is accurate and ready to be pushed to all team members, the import file will be pushed live in your Pequity production instance.
